The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, German Federal Data Protection Act). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Where we obtain consent for processing operations, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR serves as the legal basis. For processing necessary to perform a contract or pre-contractual measures, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR applies. Processing to protect our legitimate interests is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

4. Hosting and server log files

Our website is hosted by an external service provider. When you access the website, the provider collects technically necessary data in so-called server log files. These are typically:

  • browser type and version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • hostname of the accessing device
  • time of the server request
  • IP address (anonymized/truncated)

This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for the purpose of the secure and stable operation of the website. Hosting provider: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with this provider.

5. Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide in the form (name, email address, optionally company and subject, as well as your message) is stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in effectively handling the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

For the technical delivery of messages received via the form, we use the email service Mailgun (Sinch / Mailgun Technologies Inc.). We use Mailgun's EU infrastructure; processing is carried out on the basis of a data processing agreement. The data you provide in the form is transmitted.

6. Fonts

To ensure a consistent presentation, this website uses fonts (Chivo, Hanken Grotesk and JetBrains Mono) that are stored locally on our server and loaded exclusively from there. No connection to third-party servers – in particular not to Google – is established; your IP address or other personal data is not transmitted to third parties.

7. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use tracking cookies or any web analytics tool. No profiles are created about your browsing behavior.
